Banana Leaf

Hi all! Got woken up by my Dad early this morning to have breakfast as a "family" (Dad, his gf, sister & I) before heading over to KC for my sister's meet-the-parents session. Of all the teachers my sister had to see, it just had to be MRS J. LIM (MY FORM TEACHER IN SEC 3 & 4), WHY OH WHY!!! What made my morning worse was that my Dad couldn't stop comparing me to my sister when I was in Sec 3 back then, just cause she ranked 2nd in class for the first semester. Really annoying ttm! >:( Like okay~ I get it, stop raking up the past already. Headed straight home after that to rest awhile and we were supposed to go to the Mint Toy Museum this afternoon but we didn't cause of some annoying people in the house............ blah. So I just ate soem ice cream and watched tv (no life) till we left for dinner.

Had our nice dinner at Banana Leaf Apollo(?) over at Race course road. I was expecting a lot of Indians (since it was a Saturday night) at the restaurant but there were more tourists(Japanese, White-men countries LOL) than locals even! Anyway, we had their famous Fish head curry together with my mountain rice and some tandoori chicken and fish cutlet. Great dinner (Y)!

We wanted to head over to City Square mall after our dinner since it was nearby but the carpark was full(as usual) so we ended up at Far East instead. And I'm a happy happy girl now cause I managed to find a rather nice & reasonable priced dream catcher necklace($14.90) in one of the shops at Far East! They had other designs and sizes as well. Prices ranged from about $9.90-$20++ Besides necklaces, they had the dream catchers itself and also handphone keychains etc. I kinda liked the rainbow dream catcher necklace but it was only available in the big sized one which looked rather big for a necklace and I only wanted a simple looking but yet a unique one :) Hehe, that's all folks! ;D
