Spent some quality time with my sister on Friday. We went cycling in the evening at ECP. Initially, we wanted to cycle to Big Splash to have Carl's Jr or Old Town White Coffee for dinner but we changed our minds and cycled to Lagoon instead for dinner! :D We had chicken wings, satays, stingray, sotongs, kangkong, all the nice yummy yummy food for just the two of us! : I know right, we sound a lot like pigs. Hahaha. I even had 2 cups of sugar cane! Cycled back home thereafter. The sunset was beau-ti-ful when we were cycling along the beach, on our way to Lagoon:)--------------------------------
Saturday was the day Tilia and I pretty much anticipated for; having a booth for Homeclub's Hookonflea event! :):):) It only meant 2 things; we got to spend more time together and also sell our clothes to earn back some $$$ for the both of us :D Hahaha.
When we got there, it was still quite early (around 12-ish), and we had to wait for about half an hour or so before the so-called booths were set up, both inside and outside of Homeclub. To my surprise, Sufern and Jessica(my sec school mates) were both of the few people who were in charge of this flea event! Also, Cal(my RP course mate) and her girlfriend also had a booth outdoors for the flea while Tilia's and mine were inside. We got the booth inside cause there were seats and AIRCON!!! Hahaha! ^.^ Our stall location/sales were pretty good too since it was like one of the first booths you'd see when you enter the place. I earned about $86 at the end of 6hrs?(Yup, tgt with the rental fee and etc.) -- quite satisfied cause the human traffic flow there wasn't exactly fantastic or anything. There were either a lot of ppl at one timing or nobody/very lil ppl at another timing; on/off human traffic. So yep. Saw Sandra & Deserie at the flea too! Sandra even bought one of my clothings! Teehee ^.^
So of course as girls, we wanted to shop around as well and not just tend our own booth the whole day so we took turns to go walk around and shop or got Tilia's boyfriend to tend the booth for us whereas we'd walk around to find something we might like! Hehehe :B So I got myself a vintage wallet($10) and a floral skirt($4!!!!!!) and my dear Tilia got herself SO MANY rings and necklaces; priced at $5-$10 each. Very good deals and bargains there really ;) Overall, the flea was a great one. Can't wait for the next one! ;D
After the flea ended, my Dad picked me up from Central and we headed straight to my cousin's place to cut cake for his 16th birthday! :D Aunt Jaq fed us lots of food/goodies and to top it up with the cake, it was awesome!!! (Y) :D Totally loved the cake though it gave me a bad sore throat after that! Hahaha. Played Kinect with my sister and cousins and also helped Megan & Arina to film their 'Music Videos' ^.^ They LOVE to sing, dance, act. Name it, they'd do it. They're my wild lil energetic monsters! Haha. Love em all very much :)
As usual on Sundays, my family would head to either NTUC or Giant after our dinner together to get all our groceries and whatever junk my sister and I would usually get for the week, hahaha. We do this almost every single Sunday! So I got myself lots of stuff, namely these 2 ice cream tubs and pints. The paddle pop one is still my #1 favourite hehehe ^.^
Had Sakae sushi's teatime(3-6pm) buffet with Wisly ma big brother at Citylink yesterday! We ordered ALOT, x100 more than my pictures definitely. Hahaha. After that we went to buy our "I Am Number Four" movie tixs and I saw this really cute Hello Kitty speakers which were selling for $199.95!!! So ex :( doubt I'll ever get it. I'd rather spend this amount of money on getting my fisheye camera or another polaroid camera!!!
Ohhhh & I'm so going back to the shop at Esplanade where they sold a lot of cool stuff ^.^ hehe. I had a great Monday yesterday after 132536842 horrible Mondays!!! :D
