1 year down, 2 more to go

So, my results were released today, slowly and painfully.......... (I think only RP-ians would get what I mean by this statement), haha! Sounds over-exaggerating? Well, not really.. haha.

Anyway, yes! I don't have to retake any Year 1 modules because I passed everything when ironically, I did fail some major exams in between :\ like getting 'E' and 'F' grades etc. I guessed my daily grades + attendance helped pull me up to at least a pass overall! (Thank God).

Hmm I guess I can say that I'm fairly satisfied with my results since I expected the worst :\ But still, my overall GPA stinks. I kinda regret not putting the effort to do better for my first semester in year one where I could've scored better cuz the modules weren't difficult(which I thought it was) compared to what I did for last semester and at least my GPA would'nt have dropped to below 2.5.

I can't imagine myself sitting and going through the 'hell'ish modules I have for next semester, in year two. Because I know for sure, my GPA would continue to drop even further. Especially with another Physics module which is gonna be x5 tougher than the Physics we took for last semester where I already struggled so bad. No matter how hard I tried, I always got an 'F' grade. It's not because I'm lazy or hate Physics as a subject or didn't put enough effort really, I just couldn't comprehend and understand Physics as a whole. I don't even know the basics nor have a foundation for it.

One thing I dislike about RP's education system is that yeah, it totally follows the school's motto or whatever you call it, "LEARNING WITH A DIFFERENCE". And hell yeah do we learn with so much difference. I don't hate the school or anything but I feel when it comes to certain modules like Math and whatever Sciences, the students should at least be taught and given some basic fundamentals by the Facilitators or something and not just left alone with some other ppl to do their worksheets together as a group. (We RP students should ALL know the different "faces" and "working styles" of classmates) & honestly sometimes, I don't feel like I've learnt anything for the day AT ALL. Ah oh well, I'll quit the ranting already.

If my appeal for transferring course is unsuccessful, I really don't know how I'd cope for next semester with these modules: Chemistry 2, Applied Physics, Materials Science, Anatomy & Physiology. Yup, just plain science, Science, SCIENCE.
