Day out with Mum

Met mum for lunch over at QI JI @ Bugis together with my sister. Then we headed for some shopping at Bugis Street. I'm guessing cause it's the school holidays right now and everywhere is just packed with people, even on a Monday afternoon! :\ I think my mum got herself like 2 pairs of shoes and 4-5 dresses! Now I think I know where I got my spending habit from, hahaha.. And thai food for dinner over at golden mile! :>

How I spent my Saturday….

 

First X'mas - Family time

And so I got to spend my early X'mas celebration with my family and relatives this year, after missing it for the past 3 years consecutively. I never felt more at home.

Even though we don't exchange presents with one another anymore like we used to when we were younger, enjoying the food prepared with love by my aunt and grandaunt, plus everyone bringing in pot luck, + spending time with my cousins and all were more than enough for me. And it was Aaron's 5th birthday too as well, he's so cute when he blew out his candles haha.

And my cousins and myself kinda gambled the night away playing blackjack. (Yup…. we sure love to gamble) Hahaha. Even more intense on CNY! ;)

Sometimes you meet someone, and it’s so clear that the two of you on some level belong together. As lovers, or as friends, or as family, or as something entirely different. You just work, whether you understand one another or you’re in love or you’re partners in crime. You meet these people throughout your life, out of nowhere, under the strangest circumstances, and they help you feel alive. I don’t know if that makes me believe in coincidence, or fate, or sheer blind luck, but it definitely makes me believe in something.

Sick :<

Had the sudden symptoms of a horrible flu, sore throat and a fever for the past 2 days now.. If it still continues to persist tmrw, I shall go see a doc! I guess panadol flu max or whatever panadol they sell in drugstores just suck or have no effect on me :/ I totally need the drowsy meds as of now cause I have trouble sleeping thanks to my flu & sore throat. I haven't felt like this - like crap - in months from this common ailment.

I hope to fill up my next post with a video on 'WHAT'S IN MY BAG?' It came to me like *LIGHTBULB* while I was packing/clearing up my things.. Haha.

Plans for EOY

Omg just sitting here at the airport hearing screaming or crying kids all around is scary, gosh. Don't get me wrong, I love kids, just not when they turn into crying monsters. No wonder so many Singaporeans don't want kids (just saying) haha.

I'm thinking of going somewhere overseas coming end of this year - oh wait its like in a few days time :\ was thinking gold coast or seoul or bangkok? I don't know… anywhere cheap or at least worth my money to create an unforgettable experience in 2013? Haha. Or do you have any suggestions where I can go? Do share with me!!! :>

Aside from all that, I can't wait to spend X'mas with my family and close relatives. Actually mainly for the food :p but also for everyone else's warm company. Be it X'mas or Chinese New Year, my family does the same thing for every occasion after meals: GAMBLE! Haha.

While everyone is out having fun or enjoying their Saturday with their loved ones, I'm all snugged up in bed with my lappy, music and a hot drink. Great weather to stay home and avoid crowds in shopping malls or the wet outdoors :\ or at least for me.

Is anyone else feeling as empty and blue as me?

Somehow I feel like my life is back to square 1 again. With no one to really talk to about it, because they won't understand. Feeling a bit lost, stress, blank; thinking of which path to take, which direction I want to be heading towards, but most importantly, which path that might possibly / make me happy. Being able to do something I really enjoy and not feel tied down by it at the same time is something that I'll treasure in the long run.

I don't ask for the best in life, I try to make the best out of what I have or what is given to me. I don't ask for a high paying job, I don't ask for a big house nor a complete family, I don't go after materialistic things, I just want to be happy. I want to feel like I could actually go to bed every night w/o having to worry so much about things or people. I just want to live simply; lead a simple life.

I live by this saying, 'You never know when others are having a bad day or maybe even a bad life, so be kind/nice to others'.

New Look

Hi~ I'm back to my blog again after months of not touching it and since I'm free now and can't get to sleep, I decided to re-design my whole blog look! Haha. Something more…….. simple.

I don't do blogskins and all that HTML/CSS codes, I'm really an I.T noob, so I can't make my blog to look so whoa or anything, haha. Hope you like it anyway and find it more less straining for the eyes as compared to my previous layout! :>

With many off days in between my job, there's actually a lot that I can do (e.g. blogging or exercising), but I'm just always plain lazy or feeling tired most of the time. A bad habit that I need to kick aside soon considering how many days I've already rested, so I need to quit being such a lazy ass girl and spend my time well besides sleeping!

I'm actually looking forward to X'mas but kinda sad that I won't be able to spend it overseas. I always wanted to experience X'mas or the Countdown some place else besides Singapore. On the bright side, I get to attend my Family's X'mas dinner this year after not being able to attend it for about 2-3 years consecutively now. **FOOD yum yum all the TURKEY & HAM**
